CONSERVATION

Go Active Falconry is deeply committed to the conservation of native birds of prey, caring for most of our native species including the Barn Owl, Tawny Owl, Long-Eared Owl, Buzzard, Peregrine Falcon, Red Kite, Kestrel, Merlin and Golden Eagle.

Our approach combines education, hands-on experiences, and active care for these magnificent creatures. We emphasize the importance of conservation through our interactive programs, such as the Young Falconers Club, which teaches children about the ecological significance of birds of prey and their role in the ecosystem.

The centre also provides opportunities for visitors to engage with native species of birds through flying displays and educational sessions, fostering a deeper appreciation for these species. Additionally, our bird adoption program supports ongoing conservation efforts, ensuring the welfare and protection of the birds under their care.

Our dedication to conservation is evident in their mission to educate the public and inspire a sense of responsibility toward preserving native wildlife. It's a wonderful initiative that blends passion with purpose!
